Some people count sheep, I make up little stories that send me off. I never used to think anything about this until I started putting those stories down on paper, and then I started wondering if this is the normal mental state of any writer, lol

Welcome to the groupClaire Robynshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08152717159334158451noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5605326350033222320.post-91977165324728837302011-07-28T12:06:39.189-04:002011-07-28T12:06:39.189-04:00Thanks, Taryn and Wendy! Thanks, Taryn and Wendy!Susan Edwardshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16626131979925250029noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5605326350033222320.post-48599826965441993272011-07-28T07:33:47.537-04:002011-07-28T07:33:47.537-04:00Your early comments could have been about me. A friend dared me to write a book, and I couldn't resist the challenge, so I wrote 4 pages a week for 18 months.

It was so much fun I did it again and finished the second book in 6 months. By the end of that book I knew writing was what I wanted to do.Julie Rowehttp://www.julieroweauthor.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5605326350033222320.post-40860990940092712272011-07-27T14:25:45.330-04:002011-07-27T14:25:45.330-04:00Great post, Susan.

As a teen, I was involved in role playing games, essentially storytelling with a group : ) Now, I write them down, but still do a lot of mental writing and rewriting along the way.

Congrats on the releases!Cathy in AKhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08667978358875270260noreply@blogger.com
